What can I expect?
The art works inside museums can be breathtaking and inspirational at the same time. In the city of Florence the Uffizi Gallery is an absolute must-see. You get much faster access to the museum with this ticket, as you skip the long lines outside and have more time to admire the wonderful art.
Once inside you walk across the patterned floors as your eyes are drawn to the stunning statues and paintings. In every room the artistic Renaissance and Baroque gems are hiding, waiting for you to see their beauty. You especially have to see the new gallery rooms dedicated to Caravaggio.
As you walk around the gallery you catch a glimpse of wonderful art works by da Vinci, Dürer, Rembrandt and many other talented artists. In one of the rooms you find one of the many masterpieces by Michelangelo, the circular painting 'Holy Family' (or Doni Tondo), which is 120 centimeters in diameter. In another room you can take your time to admire Raphael's portrait of two men of the famous and influential Medici family: Pope Leo X and his cousin, who later became Pope Clement VII.
The Uffizi Gallery is art, history and knowledge all in one place. This is your chance to discover it!
